• Volunteering is a lot of fun!  This is a great way to meet other moms and get benefits at the same time.  The volunteer shopping event is exclusive for our volunteers only - (no guests, infants or children).  It is a relaxed, fun filled evening of great shopping with the opportunity to get the best deals.  Volunteers are very important and are crucial in making the sale successful.  Please contact us with any ideas or questions.

Volunteer Guidelines

• Volunteer 6 hours at the sale and you are eligible to shop at our Exclusive Volunteer Shopping Event.
• Volunteer 10 hours at the sale and you will also get your consignor fee waived.
• Volunteer 15 hours at the sale and you  will also get 75% back on your sold items.
• Volunteer 20 hours at the sale and you  will also get 80% back on your sold items.
• Volunteer time must be arranged with Jodi before March 2nd, 2011.
• Please do not bring children when you volunteer.

• To be eligible for the above benefits all volunteer time is time spent at the sale during check in, during the sale times, or at breakdown.
• Volunteers can break up their time to fit their schedule.
• We will allow husbands, relatives or friends to substitute for your requested volunteer time as long as you let us know via email beforehand.
• Set up and break down of the sale (the Saturday before and the Saturday after)  Break down is especially needed in order to provide our consignors an easy and quick pick up.
• Check-in (help ensure tags have the correct information, items work and are neat and clean, items with pieces are secure, and distribute items to the sale area)
• Support help (keep items neat and organized through out the sale, keep hanging items in their proper size area, set up hold piles for customers, help the customer when there are questions).

Dependability Clause

 

We welcome you to be a volunteer and help us make this sale a success, but we need to be able to depend on our volunteers.  Since many of the volunteer hours will occur after the special volunteer shopping night, we need to implement a penalty for not showing up for your scheduled volunteered time. If you agree to volunteer and do not show or follow through, your percentage on your consigned items changes from 70/30 to 50/50!
