Label Compatibilty

If you make your tags up by hand instead of using the preformatted tags we send you then you will need to print your barcodes out on lables and attach them to the top portion of your tag.

The PDF file we send you for printing is laid out to print on  labels that are 1" x 2-5/8", 30 per page. The margins are 1/2" top and bottom and 3/16" on the sides. These may be purchased at any office supply store.

Below is a list of some of the Avery brand labels that will work;

15660 - Easy peel, clear, laser printers, 300 labels.

5160 -  Easy peel, white, laser printers, 3000 labels.

5260 -  Easy peel, white, laser printers, 750 labels.

5630 - Easy peel, clear, laser printers, 750 labels.

8160 - Easy peel, white, inkjet printers, 750 labels.

8660 - Easy peel, clear, inkjet printers, 750 lables.

18660 - Easy peel, clear, injet printers, 300 labels.

FAQ's

My barcode won't print within the confines of the label, whats wrong?

The primary reason for this is an automatic page centering function within the Adobe Acrobat reader.  To correct this you need to change the print settings.  Select "File" then "Print" ( in Windows).  When the print dialog box opens there is a section labeled "Page Handling".  Make sure that "none" is selected in the page scaling drop down box. Also uncheck the checkbox marked "Auto-rotate and center"
